Dale Brown: President

If you were to ask Dale "Sincere" Brown where music fits into his life, you will most likely hear him say, "music is my life, to the point that I sleep, eat, and breathe it on a daily basis." That's just how serious this brother is about the music he creates and his contribution to the industry.

The year 2000 saw Sincere making his first attempts at beat making on the MTV Music Generator disc from PS2's collection. After saving his money Sincere later bought a Technics keyboard and from there progressed to the Korg Triton which has become his board of choice along with the MPC. After enough practice and determination, Sincere began producing complete songs not only for himself but other artist as well. Later on he would run into Shedrick Sheppard from the group, One2Many Boyz, and in 2004 he became part owner of Imurj Records.

As the President and in house producer, Dale Brown has contributed his talents and knowledge into forming a powerhouse roster of artists who will help Imurj Records live out its vision.

Morgan Balenton: Vice President

If "music is an art and art is an expression of oneself" then it is a phrase most befitting this West Texas girl hailing from a small town with a plain view. Morgan "Lady Imurj" Balenton first discovered her love for music at the tender age of 8 while watching her mother play piano and sing for the church choir. By the time she was 9 years of age, Morgan began classical piano training and joined the church choir under her mother's direction, and by the time she reached 12 she began expressing herself through lyrical content.

In 1998 Morgan moved to Dallas where she continued to write and produce music for her local church choir. However in 2005 Morgan through collaboration with ASCAP met up with Shedrick Sheppard co-owner of Imurj Records and became part owner along with Dale Brown as the Director of R&B.

What she brings to the table as a songwriter/producer is yet another piece to the puzzle in fulfilling the vision of Imurj Records by creating music that warms the heart and touches the depths of the soul. It's just another element to Imurj's "creative evolution."
