You may have never heard of Brent Young but the world will soon come to know of "Lil Cayne", Dallas, Texas’ newest "Prince of the D" storming the streets with a fresh, powerful and energetic sound driven by the syncopated rhythms of the dirty south.

You’ve heard the saying, “everybody wants to be a rapper,” but Lil Cayne is not just another rapper and while finding worthy “Rap Stars” is like “finding a needle in a haystack,” Lil Cayne is definitely a force to be reckoned with. His eclectic approach grabs your attention and makes you listen while he tells the story of his life. Lil Cayne births a style of music that is so infectious one can’t help but dance or transition into a mode that has you bobbing your head while cruising through the hood. Born on September 19, 1986 in Dallas, Texas, Lil Cayne was surrounded by music while growing up in a household where he got to witness firsthand his brother’s involvement into the music industry. Inspired by the various artist and music that surrounded him, Lil Cayne set out to seek his own destiny in the industry as well. In 2003 he began collaborating with D.S.P. (Down South Productions) artists such as Big K and Y.T. In 2005, he joined the roster at Dallas based Imurj Records and has continued to collaborate with such artist as Lil Soc, LA, Lo and St. Joseph. In 2007 he penned the song that has now become an anthem for the Dallas Cowboys football team titled, How Ya Feel (Wyde Up!) which debuted during the Packers/Cowboys game played in Dallas. He has also released singles titled “I’m Fresh”, and “Middle of the Floor”. Be on the lookup for Lil Cayne’s debut album titled “Wyde Up” coming soon in 2009.With the energy that Cayne brings the world will have no choice but to feel his presence and recognize him as the “Prince of the D”.
